Library participates in Holiday Tree Competition

Tue, 12/13/2016 - 10:09 -- Jacki Sherman

Reference librarian Sharon Mazure adds finishing touches

The Fairmont State University Holiday Tree Competition is being held this week on Main Street in the Falcon Center, and the Ruth Ann Musick Library is in on the fun!  The Library faculty and staff selected a crafty book theme for the tree, from the decoupaged star at the top to the wintery holiday titles nestled beneath.

Participants can "vote" by contributing non-perishable items, all of which will be donated to the Falcon Nest.  In addition to the popular vote, Tim Oxley and Bob Mild will be factoring in "style points." Voting will begin at 8 a.m. on December 14th and end on December 15th at 12 p.m. noon.
