National Gallery of Art Images

  • NGA Images is a repository of digital images of the collections of the National Gallery of Art, you can search, browse, share, and download. A standards-based reproduction guide and a help section provide advice for both novices and experts. More than 22,000 open access digital images up to 3000 pixels each are available free of charge for download and use. NGA Images is designed to facilitate learning, enrichment, enjoyment, and exploration.

National Jukebox

  • The Library of Congress presents the National Jukebox, which makes historical sound recordings available to the public free of charge. The Jukebox includes recordings from the extraordinary collections of the Library of Congress Packard Campus for Audio Visual Conservation and other contributing libraries and archives.

National Security Archive (George Washington University)

  • The National Security Archive combines a unique range of functions and resources.  Operating as an investigative journalism center and research institute on international affairs, the National Security Archive also acts as  library and archive of declassified U.S. government documents.  As a leading non-profit user of the U.S. Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), this public interest law firm defends and expands public access to government information as a global advocate of open government, and indexer and publisher of formerly classified materials.

Naxos Music Library

  • Naxos Music Library is the world´s largest online classical music library. Currently, it offers streaming access to more than 52,677 CDs with more than 756,740 tracks, standard and rare repertoire. Over 800 new CDs are added to the library every month.

Nelson Mandela Digital Archive

  • The purpose of Nelson Mandela Digital Archive (in conjunction with Google’s Cultural Institute) is to locate, document, digitize, and provide access to all archival materials related to Nelson Mandela. This is a work in progress. A selection of the currently available materials has been arranged in exhibits for viewing.
