Program Pre-requisites

  1. Admission to Fairmont State College
  2. Minimum GPA of 2.75
  3. Reliable Internet access

  5. Easy access to appropriate computer software and hardware, including:
    a current word processing program, an up-to-date operating system & web browser, and Adobe Acrobat Reader (5.0 or higher).

If you decide that you would like to enroll in the online Library Science program, the first thing you need to do is gain admission to Fairmont State College. You can fill out an application online by going to http://www.fairmontstate.edu/admissions/ and clicking on "Undergraduate.” From there select "Applying.” If you'd prefer a paper copy, you can obtain one by calling the school’s toll free number, 1 (800) 641-5678 and choosing extension 4892. Important:
When you fill out the online application select "Nondegree/Special," for “student type” and for "intended major" scroll down and select "MAE: SF: School Library Media K-12 (TEDP)."
