GIS in the Movies Reflection

Some reflective questions after watching a movie or TV show:

  • After watching a movie or TV show, how would you describe its geospatial place in the world?  What does it mean to you?
  • How can the use of GIS or geospatial technologies in a movie or TV show provide visual cues to date a film?
  • Does the depiction of GIS in the movie match how GIS is used in the real world?
  • Do films show a realistic view of the future? The past?
