Communication. Partnership. Retention.
Thanks for visiting the Faculty e-Newsletter! This newsletter was created from a void I saw in our campus. I know many of you will agree that our campus lacks good communication across departments--most of us are unsure of what the other has in the works. I wanted to take a step in the right direction and create a source for Office of Retention news and initiatives but also give you some ideas that might be helpful for you when talking with students. I am also hopeful that I can partner with you to better retain students. Faculty are essential in the student retention cause. I am looking forward to many collaboration efforts.
In the future, I hope that all of Student Services can share their information to faculty using this one easy source. In fact.with the help of Libguides, I can simply create this e-newsletter without much effort on my part ( I use some of the same content for the already established Falcon Family e-Newsletter) which I find is a major win for me and hopefully all of student services.
