Transportation is the leading cause of greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S., with light-duty vehicles accounting for the majority of those. Drive Electric Earth Day highlights the need to transition from gasoline-fueled vehicles to clean transportation, including plug-in electric vehicles, in order to reduce the effects of climate change and protect public health.
