Top 2 Greatest Basketball Players in FSU since 2000

Matt Bingaya 2nd

Matt Bingaya was a force to be reckoned with. He was here from 2015-2017 and transferred in from a division 1 school. In his two years he racked up 1100+ points, first team all-region, first team all-mec 2x, and was also the leader on the team that went to the national championship in 2016. He was also named national player of the year in 2016 after a remarkable year. The only reason he is not the greatest falcon of all time is because the person in front happened to be a very special talent.

Dale Bonner 1st

The greatest player since 2000 is... Dale Bonner. Bonner's career at Fairmont State was short lived due to the fact he transferred to the best division 1 school in the country, the university of Baylor. In just 2 years he are some of his accomplishments: First team all-region, became first freshman in MEC history to earn first-team all-MEC honors, MEC Freshman of the Year, and transferred to the division 1 reigning national champions, Baylor after his second year. Next year he will attend The Ohio State University for his last year of eligibility. Bonner was incredibly quick and got into the paint whenever he wanted to. He also was an absolutely amazing passer, leading the team in assists both years. If Bonner had stayed here we could have seen every record, be broken among many other great accomplishments.
