Commencement is like graduation but it is whenever you have completed the degree you went into college for. There are 2 commencement ceremonies one is in the spring and one is in the fall. Unlike High School people can graduate in either depending on their credits for their degree. Some take longer than others.
Fun fact about the graduating class of 1921 is that out of a class of 48 people there were only 3 senior boys.
