Fairmont states vision on architecture and their origins.

Precast/brick structures make up the abundance of facilities we have in the United States. We’re rarely gifted with the twist of modern architecture. From the early years of FSU till 2005 composed of all brick structures with only a couple wooden buildings. Since early 2000 there seems to be an unspoken desire for more interesting views and work places around campus. Inspired by that unspoken want I was Intrigued to research the companies and firms that have designed, renovated, and constructed our historic growing campus.
I give my thanks to these companies and FSU for changing my view and motivation. Walking to class for the first time is a little daunting and after becoming comfortable with the walk it becomes exhausting but by just a glance at the exterior it lifts you up enough to be more positive. It’s also opened up room for new astounding programs and centers to live/work. Without our new interesting structures offering more programs I might have never stepped foot on campus as a student. Same experience maybe for the enjoyable faces I’ve met while my time enrolled here.
